Meagan Rutledge was crowned 2023 Carrollton High School homecoming queen during a pre-game ceremony Sept. 22 at Community Field.
She was crowned by 2022 queen Madilynn Baker.
The queen is the daughter of Bert and Julie Rutledge. School activities include volleyball, three years, president of National Honor Society; member of the prom committee, Caring Helping Sharing (CHS) Club, student council and P7 Bible Study.
She is also a member of the Spanish Club, choir, Youth 2 Youth and Youth 2 Youth Mentor, all for four years. She plans to attend college and major in family and youth ministry. She was escorted by Eric Brackin.
Members of the court include Ashlee Garner, daughter of Angie Garner and Lance Garner; Hope Grubb, daughter of Jeremy and Sarah Grubb; Hillari Baker, daughter of Kelli and James Baker; and Mackenzie Ash, daughter of Audra and Jon Dimmino.
The queen and her court reigned over a homecoming dance, held Sept. 23 in the high school.
