Join a salute to CHS Class of 2020 this Saturday

The Carrollton Exempted Village School District will participate in a movement sweeping the nation called #BeTheLight.

The district plans to celebrate the Class of 2020 this Saturday, April 25, at 8:20 p.m., on what would have been prom night. The lights at Community Stadium will be turned on at exactly 20:20 (military time) and will remain on for 20 minutes. While school facilities remain closed and off limits, school officials hope the lights will serve as a symbol of hope as seniors look ahead to brighter days. 

Community residents are encouraged to turn on porch lights on during this time to participate.
