Carrollton
The Ashton House Museum is open Tuesday-Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Dec. 24. Decorated for the season. Located at 120 3rd St. NW, Carrollton.
Dec. 9 – Christmas Crafts Lock-In at Carroll County District Library at 5:30 p.m. For info, call 330-627-2613.
Dec. 11 – Cookie Walk 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Carrollton Church of God, 271 Moody Ave. SW, Carrollton. Small box $18, large box $30.
Dec. 14 – Carrollton High School Instrumental and Vocal Music Depts. combine for an evening of holiday music at 7 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public and will take place in the high school Performing Arts Center.
Dec. 16 – Carrollton High School Jazz and Steel Drum Bands holiday concert at 7 p.m. in the high school performing arts center.
Dec. 21 – Santa Claus will visit the Carroll County District Library at 10:30 a.m. Storytime, crafts and photos!
Conotton Valley
Dec. 15 – PreK – 4th grade Christmas Concert at the school at 7 p.m.
Dec. 20 – 5th-12 grade Christmas Concert at 7 p.m. School is located at 7205 Cumberland Rd. SW, Bowerston.
Edison
Dec. 13 – Junior high seventh and eighth-grade musicians and the jr. high jazz band will be featured playing holiday classics such as “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”, “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” and a jazz version of “We Three Kings.” Begins at 7 p.m. in the auditorium. Free admission but free offerings will be accepted and go to support the band program.
Dec. 17 – Choir concert- junior high begins at 6 p.m.; high school at 7 p.m. in the auditorium. Free event. Donations accepted. Selections include “I’ll Be Home for Christmas”, “Stars I Shall Find”, “Hava Natshira” and more.
Jewett
Dec. 17 – Annual Jewett Wildcat Community Center Holiday Concert at 7 p.m. with Mark Statler and Roger Hoard and friends. Love donation accepted at door. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Wheelchair accessible at backstage door. Info, call Tammy Dray at 740-491-7807. The center is located at 117 Main St.
Malvern
Dec. 15 – “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” around 6:30 p.m.at the Great Trail Fire Dept. North Station, 120 W. Water St., Malvern. Santa will be escorted through town in a small parade of fire trucks to the fire station. The drive-thru visit will include treat bags.
Dec. 17 – Christmas Magic Story Time at Malvern Branch Library from 10:30-11:30 a.m. For ages 6 and younger. Stories, crafts and games. For info, call 330-863-0636. The library is located at 710 E. Porter St., Malvern.

Dec. 10 – Alliance Symphony Big Band Holiday Concert at the Roxy Theatre, 114 N. Market St.
Church
Dec. 10 – Dec. 19 – Advent Study for all ages 9:30-10:15 a.m. at The Bridge. Gather for scripture and prayer prior to breaking into groups (preschool-5th grade) and teens/adults. Babies and toddlers welcome.
Dec. 12 – “Blue Christmas,” at 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 200 N. Lisbon St., Carrollton. A worship service for those who may be grieving or feeling down during the holidays; sponsored by the Carroll County Ministerial Association. Broadcast via Zoom and Facebook live.
Dec. 12 – Third Sunday of Advent-Theme “God is with Us in the Storm.” Christmas movie and popcorn at 6 p.m. at Amsterdam Church of God.
Dec. 19 – Fourth Sunday of Advent-Theme “God is with Us Always.” Children’s Christmas program. Parsonage open house (afternoon) at Amsterdam Church of God.
Dec. 19 – Christmas on the Square in downtown Carrollton at 6 p.m. Presented by Carrollton First United Methodist Church.
Christmas Eve Services
5 p.m. – Contemporary format at The Bridge (at Carroll County Fairgrounds) with the Bridge band.
6:30 p.m. – Theme: Witness His Majesty at 6:30 p.m. Amsterdam Church of God.
7 p.m. – Traditional service at The Yellow Brick Church, 253 S. Lisbon St., Carrollton, at 7 p.m. Music led by chancel choir.
