This year will be all-new entertainment at Dancing in the Park held Sept. 9 at Malvern Village Park.
Entertainment will kickoff at noon with the Malvern Drumline featuring eleven Malvern students in grades 8-12. From 1-3 p.m. Malvern’s own DJ Tyree will entertain with a variety of music and will take requests from the audience. From 4-6 p.m. Marky Mark & The Other Guys will play country and rock and roll from the 70’s and 80’s.
Jon Doe, a high energy rock and roll band will perform from 7-9 p.m. with some of the classics. They are a group based in Carroll County.
Other things to do include a children’s play area 12 noon-6 p.m.; a basket raffle, 12 noon-6 p.m.; beer garden 12 noon- 11 p.m. and food and craft vendors are available starting at noon.
In addition to the wide variety of vendors, this year there will be Doug Ash, a chainsaw wood carver who will carve a new creation during the event, and will have already made pieces for sale.
