Council welcomes ‘square crows’ back to Public Square

Carrollton Council approved fall activities within the village during the Sept. 13 meeting. 

Council approved use of Public Square for what Village Administrator Mark Wells dubbed the annual “square crows” event sponsored by the Carroll County Visitors Bureau. Families, individuals, organizations, groups and businesses will decorate themed scarecrows for display Sept. 25 from 10 a.m. to noon. Judging will be at 12:30 p.m. “Square crows” will remain on display until Oct. 18. 

A second fall activity council set is trick-or-treat. It will be held Oct. 31 from 5-7 p.m.
