Buckeye Career Center (BCC) has named the March Student of the Month recipients.

The Adult Education Student of the Month is Medical Assisting AM student Micah Busby of Bowerston. Busby is a Conotton Valley graduate and has volunteered for Community Hospice. She enrolled in Medical Assisting after taking the high school Intro to Nursing program at BCC. Her instructor, Sandy Moss nominated her for the honor.

“Micah is an excellent student with 100 percent attendance. She is dedicated and will make a great medical assistant,” commented Moss. Upon graduation in May, Busby hopes to become a certified medical assistant and work in an OBGYN office.

The high school Student of the Month is Laticia Ditto, a New Philadelphia senior and double lab student enrolled in Early Childhood Education and Floral Design.

The students were recognized by the Buckeye Career Center Board of Education at the March meeting. They will receive commemorative wooden plaques, crafted by BCC Graphic Arts and Construction Technology students.
