Burgess resigns council seat, DeLong named replacement

Malvern Council accepted the resignation of a council member and appointed a replacement to fulfill the term during the Dec. 6 meeting. 

The first order of business was an executive session for four minutes for appointment of a public official. Council woman Brittany Burgess submitted a resignation, effective immediately, due to a change in her work schedule which would not allow her to fulfill the duties of a council member.  Council appointed Craig DeLong to fill the open position.
