ADVERTISEMENT TO BID

Sealed Bids for the construction of Water Treatment Plant Improvements for the Village of Carrollton will be received by Village of Carrollton at the Village Hall at 80 Second Street S W, Carroltton, Ohio 4461 5 until 1 2:00, local time, May 30, 2024 and at that tinne and place witl be publicly opened and read.

The work for which Bids are invited consists of the furnishing of all noaterials and labor for the replacernent of’ the existing PVC piping to ductile iron piping at the water treatment plant.

The estimated construction cost for this project is $280,000.00.

Copies of the Contract Documents are on file in the Village of Carrollton at 80 Second Street S W, Carrollton, Ohio 4461 5; in the office of Engineering Associates, Inc., 1 935 Eagle Pass, Wooster, Ohio 4469 1 ‘, and in the Dodge and Builders Exchange offices and are available for inspection by prospective bidders. Contract Docutnents must be purchased from the office of Engineering Associates, Inc. for a cost of $70.00 per set, none of which is refundable. Bidders are required to register with and obtain Bidding Documents from the office of Engineering Associates, Inc.

Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 1 53.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety.

Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity.

All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services and tabor in the impleluentation of the project. Additionally, contractor compliance with equal employinent opportunity requirements of the Ohio Adm inistrative Code Chapter 1 23 is required.

This procurement is subject to the EPA policy of encouraging the participation of small business in rural areas (SBRAs).

Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvelnents in Carroll County and the Village of Carrollton, Ohio as determined by the Davis Bacon Act.

The right is reserved by the Council of Village of Carrollton to reject any and all Bids, to waive informalities or to accept any Bid which is deemed favorable to the Village of Carrollton.

The work for which Bids are invited consists of the furnishing of all materials and labor for the sanitary sewer lining on Canton Road, 5 th St. NW, High St. NW and Alley areas.

The estimated construction cost for this project is $188,000.00.

Copies of the Contract Documents are on file in the Village of Carrollton at 80 Second Street SW, Carrollton, Ohio 44615; in the office of Engineering Associates, Inc., 1935 Eagle Pass, Wooster, Ohio 44691; and in the Dodge and Builders Exchange offices and are available for inspection by prospective bidders.
