Moore, Deceased, and all persons who own or claim an interest in the real estate located at 264 South High Street, Carrollton, Ohio 44615, further described as being Situated in the Village of Carrollton, County of Carroll and State of Ohio: Lot Number 10 in Atkinson’s and McCook’s Addition to said Village of Carrollton, excepting a strip off the North side of said lot in front, facing ten (10) feet on High Street and being fifteen (15) feet wide at the rear of said lot, Parcel No. 10-0000222.000, will take notice that the structure on the described real estate is declared by the Carroll County Health Commissioner to be unfit for human habitation and a public health nuisance, and the Village of Carrollton, Ohio orders that the structure shall be demolished within thirty (30) days, leaving the premises in a clean, safe and sanitary condition. The structure shall be vacated forthwith by any occupant.

Jeff Yeager, Carroll County Treasurer, has brought an action naming you as Defendants in the above-named Court by filing his complaint on the 7th day of November, 2023.

The object of the complaint is to enforce the lien of outstanding, overdue, and unpaid real estate taxes and assessments, together with any interest, penalties, costs, fees, or expenses lawfully assessed against the following described real estate:

Situated in the County of Carroll in the State of Ohio and in the Village of Carrollton and bounded and described as follows:

Being Lot Number Four (a) in Moore’s Addition to said Village of Carrollton, Ohio

The relief demanded is judgment in the amount of $6,294.95 plus interest and court costs; that said tax lien be foreclosed and the said real estate described herein be sold at Sheriff’s Sale and the proceeds of said sale be applied for payment of the said outstanding taxes, assessments, costs, fees, and expenses; that each Defendant be required to answer setting forth his or her claim or interest in the subject real estate, if any, or be forever barred from claiming or asserting same; and for such other and further relief to which Plaintiff may be entitled.

Budget Hearing

A hearing on the budget is required by law prior to its adoption by the Board of Education. This budget will be for the period of July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025. The budget hearing will be held at 4:45 P.M. on January 09, 2024, in the CHS Extended Learning Space.
