Village Administrator Mark Wells reported the Rt. 332 sidewalk project is within one week of completion with the exception of seeding and painting. Frigid weather held it up a bit.

Wells said the cost was $1.3 million for the sidewalk and the village had to pay under $10,000. This was 2,000 feet of sidewalk. The village paid less than 1%.

“That’s huge for ODOT to be able to do that much work,” said Wells.

Council reported Waste Plant Supervisor Wayne Ruckman is retiring effective Dec. 20, 2024.

“It has been my extreme pleasure to work with and have interacted with everyone here,” said Ruckman’s letter. “I wish everyone the best.”
