Thomas Lawson Brown, 68, of Kensington, following a short battle with cancer passed away at Aultman Health Foundation on Friday, Aug. 30, 2024.
Thomas was born in Canton, Ohio on Feb. 5, 1956, to Ralph and Irene Brown.
Tom liked to fish with his family. He valued his time traveling with family, including picnics and walks. He enjoyed tinkering with wood and metals and building puzzles. He loved football at all levels. He delighted in going outside to feed and watch the squirrels and birds. He will be missed by his dog, Zeus, as they spent many hours together.
Tom is survived by those who will cherish his memories: two daughters, Melissa (Ben) Smalley, of Louisville and April Brown of Hanoverton; two sons Derek (Shaunita) Brown of Kensington and Thomas (Erin) Brown of Kensington; grandchildren, Alex, Carter, Airies, Faith, Kaitlyn, Garren, Auston, Thomas, Gage, Dallas, Nevaeh, and one great- grandchild on the way.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, Sept. 15, at 2 p.m. at the Salute Banquet Hall, 103 East Line Street, Minerva.
