Together Again

Alfa Imogene Falbo, 96, of Sherrodsville, passed away at Canton Christian Home Thursday, July 28, 2022.  

Born Nov. 24, 1925, in Canton, she was a daughter to Joseph and Catherine (Marion) Marcoaldi.  

Alfa was a member of St. Mary’s of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Waynesburg. She worked as a cook at Sandy Valley High School. Her specialty was cooking.  She also enjoyed bowling and painting.

Alfa is survived by a daughter, Tami (John) Warner of Malvern; three grandchildren, Jessica (Jeremy) Smith of Winter Haven, FL, Melissa (Bill) Gromacki of Canton, and John (Kalee) Warner of Alliance; five great-grandchildren, Kinsley Warner, Adeline Gromacki, Emily Smith, John Walker Warner and Colton Boone Gromacki; two sisters, Irene Wilson of Carrollton and Frances Phillips of Steubenville; and a brother, Joseph (Judy) Marcoaldi of Alliance.

In addition to her parents, Alfa was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Falbo; a sister, Gean Kuhn; and a brother, Firpo Marcoaldi. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 8012 Bachelor Rd, NW, Waynesburg, Wednesday, Aug. 3, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Jonas Shell of St. Mary’s of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s of Morges Catholic Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Aug. 3 from 10 – 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
