Ira D. Beard III, 48, of Carrollton, lost his battle with cancer Dec. 17, 2020, surrounded by his loving family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was a great handyman. There wasn\u2019t anything he couldn\u2019t fabricate or build.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ira and Helen Beard, Sr., and his maternal grandmother, Bernice Saffell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He is survived by his parents, Ira and Peggy Beard, Jr. of Scio; his wife, Kim Beard of the home; his brothers, Jeremy (Sarah) Beard and Jason (Amanda) Beard of Carrollton; a son, Mason Beard of Carrollton; stepdaughters, Nikki Turull of Miamisburg, OH, and Shay of the home; nephews, Jacob and Joey Beard of Carrollton; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him dearly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A celebration of Ira\u2019s (Butchie) life will be held at a later date at Leesville Methodist Church in Leesville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
