March 8 – Homemade Lasagna Dinner from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Jewett Volunteer Fire Dept. Includes salad bar, bread, dessert and beverage. $10-adult, $6-child. There will be no dinner in April due to holiday.

March 9 – Carroll Co. Family & Children First Council meeting at the Friendship Center, 100 Kensington Rd. NE, Carrollton, in the lower level conference room. Tier 2 committee, 8:45-9:30 a.m.; Advisory Council, 9:30-10:30 a.m.; Subcommittees 10:30-11:30 a.m.

March 12 – Carroll County Animal Protection League meeting at 6:30 p.m. at Carroll County Friendship Center at the fairgrounds. 

March 14 – Pie & Ice Cream Social at Kishman’s IGA in Minerva 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Benefits Carroll County Animal Protection League. 

March 14 – Yarnians meeting from 2-4 p.m. at Carroll County District Library. Bring your crochet or knitting project to work on. 

March 14 – Swiss Steak Dinner at Minerva Senior Center, 1200 Valley St., Minerva, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.  Tickets are $12 for adults, $6 for ages 3-12. Open to the public. Includes Swiss steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, coleslaw, applesauce, roll and butter, beverage and  dessert. Served family style. Call 330-868-6004 to reserve tickets in advance.
