June 15 – Dance Nite at Loudon Twp. Community Center, SR 9 in Kilgore. Doors open at 5 p.m., dance 6-9 p.m., open mike. Donation at door. 50/50. Coffee & punch provided. Bring own table snacks. Call Pixie at 330-323-0623 for info. Handicapped accessible.     June 16 – Carroll County District Library program at 5:30 p.m.by the Carroll County Bee Club (Jeff Rainsberger and Danny Wells). Learn how the public benefits from bees and how to help them thrive. Open to public. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

June 17 – Joe Doe in concert at Bluebird Farm Park Amphitheatre on Alamo Rd., Carrollton, at 7 p.m. $8 per vehicle. Bring lawn chair or blanket. No outside food or beverage permitted. 

June 17 – Christian Movie Night at Augusta Park (old school grounds). Few snacks provided, but bring favorites. Movie begins at dark. Bring lawn chairs.

June 18 – “Wood you like it?” Show-Sale-Demo at the Carroll County Arts Center 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Anyone interested in wood carving, can attend and view demonstrations. Light refreshments and music. 

June 18 – Liberty Bridge playing a mix of 60s & 70s music at Gameday Tavern, Strasburg, 7-10 p.m. 

June 22-HARCATUS annual organizational meeting at 1 p.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene, 233 Fair Avenue NE, New Philadelphia. Public comment with respect to agency operations is welcomed at that time. The annual report will be posted to its website following the meeting.       

June 24 – Carroll County Retired Teachers Association luncheon and meeting  at 11:30 a.m. at the Villa Restaurant, 701 Crest St., Carrollton. Program is an update on pensions & healthcare presented by Tamla Cole, assistant director, Group Member Education from the State Teachers Retirement System. June 25 – The Conotton Valley Alumni Assn. meeting at 9 a.m. at Bowerston Public Library.  Everyone is welcome.

June 25 – Ladies Tea on the McCook House Lawn at 10 a.m. Followed by croquet for interested parties. Reservations required by calling 330-627-3345 or 330-437-9715.
