May 27 & 28 – McCook House Civil War Museum opens for the season, Friday and Saturday. Featuring men, women and children’s accessories on display from the Civil War era. Located at the top of Public Square in Carrollton. Call 330-627-3345 for info. 

May 28 & 29 – 2nd Annual Appalachian Antique Power Show at Harrison Coal & Reclamation Historical Park grounds, 43672 Stumptown Rd.  New Athens. Saturday 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission $5. Antique tractors, hit & miss engines, oilfield engines, cars, trucks (semi & pick up), and garden tractors are all welcome.
