April 14 – Pleasant Hill and Perrysville United Methodist churches are hosting a Maundy Thursday service at Pleasant Hill UMC, 3003 Scio Rd., Carrollton, at 7 p.m. All are welcome.

April 15 – Wesley Community Chapel Good Friday service at 7 p.m. Public welcome.

April 16 – Great Divide Ruritan Easter Egg Hunt at Fox Twp. Fireman’s Park on SR 39 in Mechanicstown. Begins at 1 p.m. for up to age 12.

April 16 – 2022 Minerva Easter Egg Hunt  at 2 p.m. in Municipal Park (stage side). Children ages 0-9 are welcome to participate. Sponsored by the Great Trail Chapter of the D.A.R.

April 20 – Carroll County Health District board meeting at 5:30 p.m. in the lower level of the office, 301 Moody Ave., Carrollton.

April 20 – Senior Dance Night/Open Mike at Loudon Twp. Community Center (former Kilgore School on SR 9) 6-9 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Coffee and punch provided. Can bring own snacks. Building is handicapped accessible. Proceeds benefit the center. For info, call Pixie at 330-323-0623.

April 21 – As the Page Turns Book Club meeting at 6 p.m. at the Carroll County District Library. Participants can choose their own book to discuss. 

April 23 – Sunflowers for Ukraine Paint with T at 1 p.m. at the Carroll County Arts Center. $35. Call 330-627-3739 to register. All proceeds go to “Doctors without Borders” for Ukrainian relief.

April 23 – Fox Twp. Fire Dept. Fish Fry from 4-8 p.m. at the Fireman’s Park on SR 39 in Mechanicstown. Dinner includes fish sandwiches,  French fries & dessert by donation. Dine-in or carryout. Proceeds benefit the fire dept.   

April 26 – Pinterest Club at Carroll Co. District Library meeting at 5:30 p.m. Making air-dry clay pendants for decorating flower pots. Registration requested: 330-627-2613.

April 30 – The Conotton Valley Alumni Assn. will meet for its regular monthly meeting at 9 a.m. at the Bowerston Library. All alumni are welcome!

May 5-7 – Village wide garage sales in Minerva.

May 6 – Carrollton High School Alumni Hall of Fame banquet at 6 p.m. in the commons area at CHS followed by the induction ceremony in the Performing Arts Center. Advance tickets are $35 per person for those not members of the Alumni Foundation or $30 per person for members.
