March 4 – “Unplug and Spring into the Outdoors” hike at Fry Family Park in Magnolia beginning at 10 a.m. Learn different ways to unplug at the parks while on a 1.5-2-mile hike. Fry Family Park is located at 255 Farber St. SE, Magnolia.
March 4 – “Land Navigation” program at Fry Family Park in Magnolia from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Learn the basics of reading a topographic map and using a compass. Meet at the Fry Park Visitor Center located at 255 Farber St. SE, Magnolia. Space is limited. Register at starkparks.com.
March 10 – Carroll County Animal Protection League meeting at the Carroll County District Library in the side room to the right of the front door at 6:30 p.m.
March 10 – Participants are invited to Fry Family Park for a leisurely walk along the trails in the dark from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Take part in the search for native nocturnal birds of prey and other animals.
