Around the County…

November – Mondays – Lunch 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. by donation at the Warren Twp. Community Center on SR 212 in New Cumberland.  Includes many sides, dessert and a drink. Plus, The Loft Resale Shop open 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.  

Tuesdays – Carrollton Rotary Club meets at St. John’s Villa at noon. 

Nov. 5 – Under the Big Top Story Time at Malvern Branch Library from 10:30-11:30 a.m. For ages 6 and younger. Stories, crafts and games. For info, call 330-863-0636. The library is located at 710 E. Porter St., Malvern.

Nov. 6 – Community Breakfast at Loudon Twp. Community Center (former Kilgore School), 7:30-10 a.m. by donation. Includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, French toast, biscuits, sausage gravy, hash browns and beverages. Proceeds go toward maintaining the building. Nov. 8 – Dinovember Campout at Minerva Public Library for toddlers thru 2nd grade & caregiver. Bring plastic dinosaur to story time 6-6:30 p.m. Leave dinosaur and pickup later with booklet detailing exploits.  Registration recommended at 330-868-4101.

Nov. 9 – Suburban Garden Club meeting at Pat Roudebush home, 4th St. NE, Carrollton, at 6 p.m. Preparing wreaths for hanging/preparing decorations for tree at library.  New members welcome.

Nov. 11 – Carroll County Animal Protection League meeting at Carroll County District Library meeting room. The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. The library is located at 70 2nd St. NE, Carrollton.
