David V. Patton, 87, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2022, at Trinity West.

He was born Nov. 27, 1934, in Steubenville. Dave was the son of the late Joseph & Ida Mae Pekruhn Patton. He was a 1952 graduate of Steubenville High School, where he was a proud member of the 1952 State Runner-Up Men’s Basketball Team. Upon graduation, he served in the Army and later worked for Weirton Steel Co. until his retirement. Dave was an avid golfer, Ohio State Buckeye fan, and dedicated member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Steubenville.

Dave is survived by his daughters Diana L. (Anthony) Bodo and Deborah L. Patton; two grandchildren Heath M. (Melissa) Bodo and Dr. Brittany N. Bodo; one great-grandson Carmen Michael Bodo; and siblings Donald Patton and Marilyn Patton.

Friends may call at 10:00 a.m. Friday Sept. 2, at Grace Lutheran Church. Service to begin at 11a.m. with burial to follow at Union Cemetery.
