Brennan bowls first perfect game in Rocket history

Conotton Valley bowler Bobby Brennan rolled his way into the Rockets record books.

Brennan, a sophomore, threw the first 300 game in school history Feb. 1 at Atwood Lanes. 

Brennan was voted the Stark County High School Bowling Conference National Division’s Bowler of the Year last season and qualified individually for the District tournament.  

Along with his record setting game, he also rolled the high series 504 (300, 204) helping the Rockets defeat Lake 2,540-2,326.

Spencer Bernhart rolled a 440 (216, 224); Robert Myer, 411 (213, 198); Nolan Caldwell, 404 (203, 201); and Jayden Rolli, 348 (164, 184). The boys were up 2,107-1,767 after the individual games.

Conotton Valley rolled a 433 Baker. Lake rolled a 559 Baker. Connor Ault rolled the high series 416 (223, 193) for Lake.  

Girls action

 The Lady Rockets defeated Lake 2,336-2,061. Mackenzie Willoughby rolled the high series and high game for the Rockets 407 (244, 163). Daphne Stuber rolled 399 (194, 205); Katie Schaar, 356 (221, 135); Mylie Galigher, 353 ( 163, 190); and Chloe Blick, 321 (183, 138). The Lady Rockets led 1,836-1,605 after individual games and rolled a 500 Baker. Lake rolled a 456 Baker. Jenna Peresta rolled the high series,a 380 (209, 171) for Lake.

Junior Varsity

The girls JV team beat Lake 1,698-1,541. Alexis Booth rolled the high series and high game 360 (149, 211) for the Rockets. Madison Miley rolled 285 (130, 155); Quinn Conkey, 213 (100, 113); Chloe Stuber, 206 (107, 99); and Haylee Myers, 200 (97, 103). They led 1,264-1,245 after individual games. The Rockets rolled a 434 Baker. Lake rolled a 296 Baker. Lindsey Gotham rolled the high series 281 (134, 147) for Lake.
