Vivian Heller, 93, joined her husband Lt. Robert Heller (Navy) Sept. 21, 2021.

She is survived by her son, Navy Veteran Michael Spane; adopted daughter, Amber-Leigh Decker; grandchildren, Nicholas (Allyson) Decker, Rebecca-Lynn Decker, Mary-Elizabeth Decker, Jason Decker Jr., Charles Decker and Jonathan Decker; great grandchildren, Alexander Decker and Kai Decker; her brother, Star, sisters, Mary and Carol and their children.

Vivian was an icon of the Atwood Lake region, being the owner/operator of Walnut Spring Kennel since 1967, boarding and grooming generations of dogs for families. Vivian and Robert raised and showed both chows and Norwegian Elk Hounds throughout the Northeast and Canada. She was renowned for her love of animals and continued caring for them until her death.
