Virginia P. Beckley, 78

Virginia Pearl Beckley, 78, of Carrollton, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 13, 2022.

Born Dec. 7, 1943, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna Kay Ward. 

She married the love of her life, Frank E. Beckley, with whom she celebrated 57 years together. 

Virginia attended the Carrollton Assembly of God in Carrollton. She enjoyed doing private home health care for many people in Carroll County. Her passion was not limited to those she cared for, but for her love of animals, especially her cats. 

She is survived by husband, Frank, and her two children, Brian H. (Lisa) Beckley of Mineral City and Dan S. Beckley of Carrollton; two grandchildren, Mindy Starkey and Brittany Beckley; and three great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Lisa R. Beckley; grandson, Ryan Beckley; and siblings, Jim Ward, Doris Reed, Wanda Exline and an infant sister. 

Calling hours will be Sunday, July 17, from 5-8 p.m. and 11 a.m. to noon Monday at Allmon Dugger Cotton Funeral Home. Services will be held July 18 at noon at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date.
