Thomas Turnipseed, 58

Thomas Turnipseed, 58, of Augusta passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024 at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton. 

The son of Ruby (Richard) Owens of Augusta and the late Denton Turnipseed, he was born Feb. 21, 1966, in Alliance, Ohio.

Thomas is survived by his wife or 25 years, the former Maurissa Sanayhie; three children, Sarah, Isabella, and Thomas; two grandchildren, Kerah and Psalms; and a sister, Darla. 

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Sept. 4, at 11 a.m. at Stillfork Presbyterian Church in Augusta with the Rev. Ryan Hale officiating. Burial will follow in Augusta Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 3, 5 – 7 p.m. in Dodds Funeral Home of Carrollton.
