Marjorie “Midge” A. Zorger

Marjorie “Midge” A. Zorger, 85, passed away Feb. 17. 2023. She was born Nov. 1, 1937 in Canton to parentes Marvin and Berdine (Monter) Lamielle.

She graduated from Louisville High School and spent the last 48 years in Carrollton. She was a homemaker until all three of her children were in high school and then she got a job at the former Thornes IGA in Carrollton, where she later retired from after 10 years. After retirement she enjoyed sitting on her back porch watching the wildlife and all the kids playing in the pond. 

Marjorie is preceded in death by a son, Lance Zorger; four brothers and a sister. She is survived by her husband, Eugene Zorger, whom she married Aug. 30, 1958. They would have celebrated their 65^th wedding anniversary this year. She is also survived by a son Todd (Denita) Zorger, a daughter Leddi (Chick) Moyer, daughter-in-law Carol Zorger, six grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and seven step-great grandchildren.
