Linda Kay Anderson

Linda Kay Anderson, 73, of Amsterdam, died unexpectedly of a heart attack Thursday, March 16, 2023.

Linda was born in East Cleveland on Jan. 13, 1950.

A graduate of Mount Union College, she made her home in the Ohio Valley after receiving a teaching job at John Gregg Elementary in Bergholz. There she met Thomas Anderson and they were married in 1972.

She was an educator in the Edison Local School District for over 30 years. Linda’s passions were teaching, reading, spending time with her family, and her cat, Toney. She will be remembered for her love of children and her perseverance despite many health setbacks.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Kathleen White Robellard.

Linda is survived by her husband, Thomas; son, Daniel; and siblings, Eric and Nancy.

A memorial service will be held at the Carroll Healthcare Center in Carrollton at a later date.
