Juanita Mae Fields, 82, of Minerva, passed away Friday, Jan. 14, 2022, at Alliance Community Hospital.

Born July 18, 1939, in Akron, he was a son to Ross and Irene (Parkins) Cunningham.

Juanita worked as a nurse’s aide in Little Forest Nursing Home in Akron. She enjoyed reading, doing word finds, quilting and sewing. She loved animals and enjoyed spending time with her daughters and grandchildren.

Juanita is survived by two daughters, Charlene Bates of Minerva and Debbie (Michael) Watson of Canton; two sons, Phillip Ladd and Christopher Ladd; five grandchildren, Allison (Josh) Jacobs, Casey (Cody) Lehman, Abigail Watson, Donald James Lee, Cory Ciarrochi and Tawn Carrochi; a brother, Floid “Al” (Mildred) Cunningham of Florida; and a special cousin, Janice Sands of Florida.

In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Fields; two brothers, Ross “Butch” Cunningham Jr. and Larry Cunningham; a sister, Marjorie Elaine Reisinger; a daughter, Tina Ciarrochi; and a granddaughter, Christina Barton.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, Jan. 18, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Chet Howes officiating at Bartley Funeral Home, 205 West Lincoln Way, Minerva. Visitation will be held Jan.17, from 4 to 6 p.m.at Bartley Funeral Home.
