Joyce A. Smalley, 65

Joyce Ann Smalley, 65, of Minerva, passed away at McKinley Life Care Thursday, June 25, 2020. Joyce was born in West Virginia Aug. 18, 1954, to late Bradley and Ruby (Thomason) Childers. 

Joyce is survived by two sons, Shaun (fiancé Virginia) Shasten and Rodney Hudson; three sisters, Judy (Jim) Emmons of Alliance, Wanda (Jack) Bryan of Robertsville, and Ruth (Tim) Adams of Minerva; two brothers, Bradley (Honchie Demarco) Childers of Minerva and John (Monique) Childers of Monrovia CA; grandson, Zachery Shasteen whom she helped to raise; four additional grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and her companion, Steve McGrath of Minerva.

Following cremation, a private graveside service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
