Johnny Eugene Lairson, 77, of Carrollton passed away Dec. 16, 2021, at Weirton Medical Center in Weirton, WV.

Born May 12, 1944, in Jewett, he was a son of the late Frederick and Ruth Cochran Lairson.

Johnny was retired from the Lordstown General Motors Plant. He loved spending time riding motorcycles, toying with old cars, and hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Lairson; children, Amy (Mike) Hockenberry, J. Fred Lairson, Amanda (Danny) Mohn; stepsons, Doug (Debbie) Stack and Kirk (Sandy) Stack; grandchildren, Desiree (Dan) Weirich, Nicole Hockenberry, Tyler (Rita) Hockenberry, Storm (Tori) Mohn, Bryce (Shelby) Mohn, Teagin (LeeAnna) Mohn; step-grandchildren, Chelsia Stack and Kassandra Stack; and seven great grandchildren.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Lairson; sister, Maxine Dodd; and daughter-in-law; Stephanie Lairson.

Per his wishes there will be no formal services and cremation has taken place. Dodds Funeral Home of Carrollton assisted with the arrangements.
