On Monday, Nov. 1, 2021, Haru (DeeDee) M. Ross, loving mother of three children, passed away at the age of 87.

Born Aug. 10, 1934, in Itoman, Okinawa, she moved to Carrollton, where she raised her three children.

She enjoyed many years of employment and retired from PCC Airfoils in Minerva.

Haru had a passion for gardening, animals and her family. She was known for her candor, quick wit, hard work ethic and sense of humor.

She is survived by her three children, Barbara (Lloyd) Herziger of Tehachapi, CA, Debbie (David) Wong of Granville, and Mark (Kathy Cook) Manfull of Dellroy; her grandchildren, Kristen (Corey) Yeager, Matt (Maci) Manfull, Ryan (Mehgan Cline) Wong and Lea (David) Freeman; four great grandchildren, Kendell, Lillian, Laila and Gideon; and her best friend, Chiyoko Weaver.

She was preceded in death by her mother, brother and sisters of Itoman, Okinawa, and daughter-in-law, Patti Manfull of Carrollton.
