Gilda Louise Willison, 93, of Navarre, passed away Friday, March 25, 2022, at Aultman Compassionate Care Center.

Born March 17, 1929, in Salineville, she was a daughter to William and Florence (Gross) Thompson.

Gilda graduated from Minerva High School in 1947. She spent most of her career as a nurse’s aide. She was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking, cleaning and playing cards. She was well known for her quick wit and fantastic sense of humor. Gilda’s greatest love was that of her family.

Gilda is survived by a daughter, Tammy Willison of Navarre; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William Penick; her second husband, Thomas Willison; son, Ronald Penick; daughter, Patricia Define; and companion of over 20 years, Thomas Elliott.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 1, at 11 a.m. at Deckman-Bartley Funeral Home, 434 W. Main St., Malvern. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be held April 1 10 to 11 a.m.
