Felice Angelina Dunn, 94, of Bowerston passed away on Tuesday Sept. 24, 2024.
She was born on Dec. 23,1929, to the late James and Edith May. Her husband William passed away on Sept. 13, 1975. Felice attended New Harrisburg school when she was younger. Felice was a member of the Perrysville Church. Felice played the piano at the church and also gave piano lessons.The farm life was where she found her solace raising a variety of animals from her Arabian horses and Welsh ponies. She also raised the typical large and small animals found on a farm to feed her friends and family. She showed her horses at various horse shows.
Felice even operated a bakery from her home called Mom’s Kitchen. She sold her baked goods at the farmer’s market on Saturdays. She was in the book “A Secret Gift” written by Ted Gup.
Felice worked outside the home at the Friendship Center when it was located in Harlem Springs. She could be found making Quilts at the Mill Festival.
Survivors are her children, Gene Dunn and Naomi Gaston; her sister Rose May; her grandchildren Leatris, Jenna, Randi, Warren, Charlene, Christopher and Moriah. Great-grandchildren Aiden, Alissa, Justin, Maximus, Teliana, Caiden, Xiaolin, Terren, Kennedi, Adelise and Cass.
Preceded in death by her parents, siblings Fred, Ralph, and Clem. Her children John Dunn, Bill Dunn, Tim Dunn and Eric Dunn this past November.
Calling hours will be on Oct. 1, at the Perrysville Church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The funeral will start at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Perrysville Cemetery.
