Earshel “Carl” Mullins, 88, of East Canton passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022.

Born March 30, 1934, in Winifrede, WV, he was a son to Ray and Locie (White) Mullins.

Carl resided in West Virginia until he and his wife Kathryn moved to Cleveland, OH. In the late 70s, he moved his wife and two youngest children to Palmyra. A member of the United Auto Workers Union, he retired from the Chrysler stamping plant in Twinsburg, OH, in 1995.  He spent the majority of his retirement enjoying time with family and fishing in the lakes near his home. The last six years he resided with his daughter, Debbie and husband Dave in East Canton. Carl was a man of few words but lots of laughs. He loved spending time with family, friends and pets, but his biggest love (besides his wife of 63 years) was fishing. He was an avid fisherman, spending time every year traveling to his favorite fishing camp in Canada. Carl was loved by family and friends and will be greatly missed.

Carl is survived by his daughter, Debbie (David) Johnson of East Canton; two sons, Gary Mullins of Wadsworth and Edward (Georgia) Mullins of Jacksonville FL; siblings, Faye (Jim) Smith, Hellen (CJ) Marler, David (Ilona) Mullins, Gene Mullins, Gene (Carolyn) White and Gina Kosmo; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Mullins; two brothers, Kenny and Danny; and three sisters, Barb, Violet and Caroline.

There will be private graveside services. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.
