Dominque S. Dingler, age 25, of Dellroy, Ohio went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday morning, Nov. 20, 2024, in Trinity Hospital Twin City at Dennison from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
She was born March 18, 1999, in Zanesville, and was the daughter of Jennifer Lynn (Knight) Davis of Newcomerstown and the late Clinton Bernard Davis. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandfather Charley Knight.
She was employed as a dental \assistant at Tusc Family Dental in Gnadenhutten. Dom was enthusiastic about her work and cared deeply for her co-workers. She was devoted to the Lord and was baptized into Christ for the remission of her sins. She was a 2017 graduate of Newcomerstown High School and Buckeye Career Center adult education program. She and her husband Alec loved going to the beach in Destin, FL. It was her favorite place. She was an animal lover, particularly fond of dogs and cats, especially her Mastiff Shepherd “Blaze” and her cat “Miss Priss”. Dom made an impression on those who shared her life … she stole their hearts with her gentle kindness, and the love she shared with Alec. She had a personality that would lighten up any room. Her shared families will forever mourn the loss of her beautiful soul, but are confident that they will see her again in Heaven.
She is survived by her husband, Alec C. Dingler, whom she wed Aug. 22, 2020. Alec and Dom were married four years and shared so many dreams. Also surviving are her mother, Jennifer Davis (her companion Justin Heston), three sisters Mrs. Trew (Hunter) Jones and Lacey (Her companion Derrick Dunlap) Davis, both of Newcomerstown, and Mrs. Destiny (Seth) DeVault of Gnadenhutten; a “bonus sister” Jaylynn Heston and “bonus brother” Jay Heston, both of Newcomerstown; maternal grandmother Susan Knight of Port Washington;, paternal grandfather Jeff Davis; and paternal grandparents Nancy and Bill Smith, all of Newcomerstown; “Nana” Carol Swigert of Newcomerstown; father-and mother-in-law Corey and Erika Dingler of Dellroy; brother-in-law Broc Dingler of Dellroy; and two nieces.
