David E. Kehl, 72, of East Twp. Kensington passed away on Thursday April 20, 2023 from injuries he sustained from an accident at his residence on the evening of April 19, 2023.

He was born to the late Lester B. Kehl and Marie (Decker) Kehl in Alliance on Nov. 8, 1950. David attended West Branch High School and had numerous certifications in his field as a diesel technician. He loved hunting and fishing and trail riding with family and friends. David married the love of his life Bonnie K. (Hein) Kehl in 1978 and she passed away this month on Sunday April 02, 2023.

Survivors include his children Mike Wilson of Hartville, Kimberly (John) Walton of Minerva, Timothy Wilson of East Rochester, Patricia Kehl of New Philadelphia and Shelley Kehl (Tom Slack) of East Rochester; Eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; siblings James Kehl of N. Canton, Linda Morgan of Albany GA, Janie Kehl of Norman Park GA, Sheri Whitlatch of Moultrie GA, Don (Cheryl) Kehl of N. Benton and Ron (Kim) Kehl of Minerva; many loving nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be Thursday April 27, 4 to 6 p.m. at Maple Cotton Funeral Home.
