Dana Jeanne Beadnell, 78, of Salineville died Jan. 30, 2022, at Salem Regional Medical Center following a lengthy illness.

Born Feb. 26, 1943, in Salineville, she was a daughter of the late Harry Forbes and Martha (Temple) Forbes.

Having lived all her life in the area, Dana was a graduate of Salineville High School class of 1961, a member of Salineville United Methodist Church and spent her years as a homemaker. She loved to go camping and attending all her grandchildren’s events. She also loved to decorate the house for each and every holiday, making each year special and creating memories for her family and friends.

Left to cherish those memories are her husband, Richard Paul Beadnell, whom she married July 19, 1961; two sons, Todd (Nicole) Beadnell and Shane Beadnell, both of Salineville; three daughters, Shawna (Michael) Crews of Wellsville, Shanna (Michael) DePalmo and Bronwyn (David) Rininger, both of Carrollton; two brothers, Shawn (Kathy) Forbes of Salineville and Randy (Laura) Forbes; a sister, Shirlee (Steve) Jarrett of Salineville; 14 grandchildren, Dustin, Kaitlynn, Kameryn, Darrion, Hannah, Haley, Tyler, Delaney, Paige, Gavin, Shane, Amanda, Amber and Michael, as well as 14 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Dana was preceded in death by two brothers, Dickie Forbes and Bill Forbes; and two sisters, Darla Madison and Renee Smith.

Services were held Feb. 1 at Kerr Watson Funeral Home in Salineville with Pastor Linda Baker of the church officiating. Burial was in Woodland Cemetery.
