Charles “Charlie” R. Beverly

Charles “Charlie” R. Beverly, 34, of Salineville, passed away in his home on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2022.

He was born on Nov. 5, 1987, in Canton, Ohio to Charles Beverly and Lisa Wellon.

Charlie graduated from Southern Local in 2006 and was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 18 Union and worked for Jefferson Material for over seven years. He loved to ride his Jeep Wrangler, ATV’s and getting muddy. He also enjoyed collecting diecast model tractors and semi-trucks. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with all of his family and friends.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Beverly and Lisa Wellon; fiancé, Ginger Matson; three step-daughters, Cierra Matson, Karlee Matson, and Kendal Ray; two step-grandchildren, Michael and Felicity Alleshouse; grandparents, Lester and Velma Wellon; sister, Lauren (Andrew) Stephens; nephew, Waylon Stephens; and uncle, Bret (Mary Jo) Wellon; two aunts, Linda Beverly and Kathy (Chuck) McCoy; and two cousins, Zack and Chucky McCoy.

Preceding him in death were his great grandparents, Earl and Minnie Ketchun; and grandparents, Robert Beverly, Betty (Sonny) Cline, William Wellon, and Ruth Wellon (Charles) Lewis.

Funeral Services will be held at 11a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8, at Dodds Funeral Home in Carrollton, officiated by Pastor Harold Barber. Burial will follow in Scroggsfield Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, Nov. 7, from 6–8 p.m.
