Winter homecoming crowning set Friday

Activities are underway this week at Carrollton High School as students gear up for the 2023 winter homecoming crowning and dance.
Spirit week will culminate with a pep rally at school Jan. 27 and crowning of the king and queen between the junior varsity and varsity basketball games that evening. The junior varsity game begins at 5:30 p.m. when the Warriors host Salem.
The festivities will culminate with a dance, “Winter Wonderland,” Jan. 28 in the high school gym.
The court includes:
Freshmen: Gabryella Ferren, daughter of Karri Freen and Tyler Ferren; and Edgar Allison, son of Kelly Poole.
Sophomores: Kenly Mitchell, daughter of Alyssa and Dennis Mitchell; and Landen McClelland, son of Jeff and Andrea McConnell.
Juniors: Ashlee Garner, daughter of Angie and Lance Garner; and Mateo Dominguez Valle, whose host parents are Cheryl Brunk and Jeffrey Brunk.
Seniors: Gracie Bagozzi, daughter of John and Jamie Bagozzi; Molly Brace, daughter of Beau and Marissa Brace; Micah Barkan, son of Kenny and Jessica Barkan; and John Birong, son of Tom and JC Birong.
