Two-day Coats for Kids distribution planned

Thomas Turnipseed’s Allstate Insurance is once again distributing for the annual Coats For Kids on Thursday, Dec. 8 and Friday, Dec. 9, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church banquet hall on Moody Ave.
Coats will be handed out to anyone in need with size ranges from 2T up to 2XL in adult size. There will be a large variety of hats and gloves to choose from as well.
“We have handed out approximately 5,000 coats since we started this back in 2009,” said Turnipseed. “Last year we handed out around 450 coats.”
If in need of a winter jacket, and hats and gloves before the distribution, or have any questions, or would like to donate any coats, hats and gloves, call Thomas Turnipseed’s Allstate Insurance at 330-627-3092.
Turnipseed stated the Drug Mart donations for Coats For Kids stay local and does not leave Carrollton. “It is important to know the $1 donations at Carrollton and Minerva Drug Mart stores do get to me and stay local,” said Turnipseed. “Thank you to all who donate to this cause.”
