Tire recycling event planned Sept. 5

The Carroll County General Health District is hosting a “Retire the Tire” event at the Carroll County Fairgrounds on Sept. 5 from 8 a.m. to noon.

The event is sponsored by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency Mosquito Control grant. The health department collect car and light truck tires without rims.

There is a limit of 10 tires per Carroll County residential address.  There is no fee, participants are required to show proof of residence.
