Bayley McClelland and Colton Moore

Colton Moore and Bayley McClelland are Carrollton High School’s Senior Students of the Month for January.
Colton is the son of Brooke and Chad Moore, of Mechanicstown and he has a sister, Jada Moore in the ninth grade.
Moore is on the golf team and is the chamber choir president. His hobbies include cooking.
He is currently undecided but plans on going to Walsh University or Malone University. He plans to get his business degree in college as well as play college golf. After college he plans to work for a big time golf company.
Moore stated that his parents have had the most influence in his life because they have taught him that there will be a lot of challenges in life, but you can overcome any of them with the right mindset, and by working hard.
“Also my grandparents were an influence, my teacher Mindy Domer and my golf coach Gary Cogan.”
What advice does Moore have for success in life? “Never give up on yourself. No matter how hard times get you can always get through them and find success.”
Bayley is the daughter of Jeff and Andrea McClelland of Carrollton, and she has one brother, Landen, who is 15 years old. He is a sophomore.
McClelland plays both volleyball and softball and is currently in the National Honor Society and attends the Church of Christ.
Her hobbies include hunting and solving puzzles.
McClelland is undecided where she plans to attend college, but she plans to major in nursing.
She stated her parents influence her the most because they taught her the importance of hard work and dedication. “They push me to succeed with anything that I am working towards.”
What advice does McClelland give for success in life? “The advice that I can give for success in life is consistency. Nothing will come right away, but if you keep working towards your goals you will start to see the positive results that you want to accomplish.”
