Pesticide & Fertilizer Updates for Jefferson, Harrison counties

Erika Lyon, extension educator for OSU Extension Jefferson and Harrison Counties, sent correspondence regarding pesticide and fertilizer updates.

All remaining private recertification classes are postponed until further notice. OSU Extension educators will update the public as news is presented from the Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA). ODA public facilities are closed until April 11.

For commercial applicators, the following commercial pesticide applicator courses will be offered as a webinar:

March 25 – Commercial New Applicator (registration closed).

March 24 & 25 – General Pest Control New Applicator (registration closed.)

April 15 – Commercial New Applicator

Pesticide applicator exams at the ODA Reynoldsburg campus are suspended until April 10. Beginning March 17, OSU Extension discontinued hosting ODA Pesticide Exams until further notice. Other off-site exams may still be available, depending on location.
