The Malvern Market, an artisan and farmers market, will open June 29 from 3:30-7:30 p.m. at Malvern Village Park on SR 43.
Malvern Market will run on Wednesday evenings through October (weather permitting) and feature a variety of vendors. Vendors will be set up in the grassy area near the stage.
The Malvern Market is presented by Swift Fields. They had a booth at the 2021 Dancing on the Bridge event at the park and met many people who were interested in a market in Malvern. They hope to eventually have 10-15 vendors.
“We’re organizing the Malvern Market in an effort to provide a place for buyers and sellers of locally produced items to come together in our local community. Items that will be available at the market consist of artisan crafts, specialty baked goods, local beef and other meats, eggs, dairy and Swift Field’s produce,” Oprean family members stated. “It is our goal to keep this market a cooperative effort amongst our vendors so as not to create a competitive situation. We are marketing the weekly event and promoting each vendor specifically by posting to various social media outlets.”
Swift Fields is owned by Joseph Oprean, who along with his mother, Jan, will sell their produce at the Malvern Market.
They are accepting applications from interested vendors. Contact Jan at [email protected].
