To the Editor:

What started out as a peaceful protest has been hijacked by the radicals of Black Lives Matter and ANTIFA. We have seen the death and destruction, its anarchy. The cities that are being destroyed are run by Democrats and the mayors are doing little to stop it. Instead many side with the anarchist and are giving in to their demands, including defunding law enforcement.
This is not about George Floyd anymore. It’s about destroying America and it’s being done using race. BLM has trained Marxists as their leaders, they have admitted it. ANTIFA members are mostly white college-educated, upper-class young men and women under 30. They have been indoctrinated by their left-wing professors to hate this country and are attempting to destroy it.
None of these mayors have the desire to stop the destruction and violence. Why should they? I believe they hate America too, as does their party. They feel continuing this chaos can affect the election to oust President Trump.
The long-term goal of the Democrat Party is to abolish our current government and to start anew with total control of the populous as the Marxist regime. In all communist countries, it started with tearing down statues, erasing history, abolishing the police and replacing it with their own law enforcement, indoctrinating children in the schools and having control over speech.
You can see this happening now and nothing is being done about it. I believe corporations are scared of these groups, giving millions to them, changing names of their products so not to be targeted as racist. The left wants the power to control every aspect of your life and, if successful, freedom will cease to ring. We will be subjected to the will of the government just like the slaves were to their masters long ago.
The radicals have taken over the party and the thirst for power and transformation of our country will not end. What has happened to the party of JFK? Who is pushing back? Only one person, the one the media is trying to destroy and the Democrats hate.
