Health Dept. offering COVID-19 booster shots

A booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine is now available for individuals who have received the first and second doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine only at least 6 months ago (or a third dose if immunocompromised), and at least 18 years old.

Booster doses are also authorized for all recipients of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine at least two months following the initial dose, or at least 18 years old. Recipients of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine can receive a booster dose of any of the three approved COVID-19 vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson).

The health department is offering all three types of COVID-19 vaccine (Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, and Pfizer).
