Grand jury hands down indictments

A Carroll County grand jury handed down nine indictments during a half -day session Jan. 3 with all but one case carrying drug-related charges.
Prosecuting Attorney Steven D. Barnett said indictments were returned against the following:
HEATHER D. BLANCHARD, 49, of Cambridge, Aggravated Possession of Drugs and Possessing Drug Abuse. Blanchard was found in possession of methamphetamine and a syringe used to administer drugs following a traffic stop in Carrollton July 6, 2022. Blanchard also had an outstanding warrant for her arrest from Tuscarawas County at the time.
ELIZABETH D. WILSON, 35, of 9164 Arrow Rd., Minerva, Aggravated Possession of Drugs and Driving Under Suspension. Minerva Police stopped a vehicle driven by Wilson Dec. 7, 2022, for a traffic violation. At the time of the stop, officers learned Wilson’s driver’s license was suspended. During a consent search of the vehicle, officers found methamphetamine hidden in a soda can.
STEVEN S. FLACK, 54, of 11881 State Route 164, Amsterdam, Receiving Stolen Property, and ISAAC S. BRYAN, 45, of the same address, Aggravated Possession of Drugs and Operating a Motor Vehicle Bearing an Invalid License Plate or Identification Mark. While on patrol Dec. 15, 2022, Minerva police officers identified the license plate on a vehicle driven by Bryan, but owned by Flack, that was stolen from Akron Further investigation found suspected methamphetamine in a bag belonging to Bryan. Bryan was also indicted for operating the vehicle having a fictitious license plate.
GARY S. SELWAY, 60, of Canton Aggravated Possession of Drugs and Drug Paraphernalia Offenses. On Aug. 1, 2022, Selway was found in possession of methamphetamine following a traffic stop by sheriff deputies on Alliance Rd. near Malvern. During the stop, a K-9 alerted on the vehicle and search of the interior of the vehicle discovered the drugs and a glass pipe used to smoke methamphetamine in a bag belonging to Selway.
CHARLES R. LOTERBAUGH, 36, of 7060 Alliance Rd., Malvern, Aggravated Possession of Drugs. On June 26, 2022, deputies were dispatched to the Lardon Road, Brown Township area for a disturbance. A vehicle matching the description tied to the disturbance was stopped. During the stop, Loterbaugh, who was not involved in the disturbance, emptied his pockets, where deputies discovered a small amount of methamphetamine folded up in a dollar bill.
WILLIAM H. TURNER, 38, of Millersburg, Aggravated Trafficking in Drugs. Turner is accused of selling approximately 4.25 grams of methamphetamine April 15, 2022.
KATIE C. WALLACE, 46, of 6085 Gary Drive NW, Malvern, two counts of Aggravated Trafficking in Drugs, and two counts of Aggravated Possession of Drugs. Wallace is accused of selling approximately three grams of methamphetamine on two separate occasions in March. One sale occurred within 1,000 feet of a school or juvenile.
SUSAN L. FLYNN, 46, of 190 Bergholz Rd, Carrollton, three counts of Aggravated Trafficking in Drug, and three counts of Aggravated Possession of Drugs. Flynn is charged with selling approximately seven grams of methamphetamine on three separate occasions during May 2022.
Arraignments are scheduled Jan. 19 at 8:15 a.m. before Common Pleas Judge Michael V. Repella, II.
