Fox and Augusta fire departments assisted Hanover Township (Columbiana County) Fire Department at the scene of a fatal house fire in the early morning hours of Feb. 5.
Hanover Township was toned at approximately 5:30 a.m. for a structure fire at 8516 Memorial Rd., NE, Kensington.
Upon arrival, they found the single-story home fully engulfed in flames with a person trapped inside the 28×56 modular home, located in East Twp., Carroll County.
Hanover Twp. Fire Chief Frank Baker said there were four adults and three children living in the home.
Carroll County Coroner Dr. Mandal Haas said Boyd Dean Bland, Jr., his wife and a young child were living in the basement of the home.
