County 4-H members earn opportunity to compete at state fair

Carroll County 4-H members who earned outstanding and/or state fair berths were recognized July 14 during a ceremony.

To be eligible for an outstanding and/or state fair berth, members must have received an excellent at still project judging July 10.

Members included:

Cake Decorating

Outstanding of the day: Hannah Romeo,  Roselle Fisher, Anna Miller and Olivia Maher. Jr. state fair delegate: Olivia Maher, delegate and Anna Miller, alternate.  Sr. state fair delegate: Hannah Romeo and Roselle Fisher, alternate. Best Cake Decorating Award: Hannah Romeo.

Clothing and Textiles

Outstanding of the Day, state fair delegate and Best Clothing and Textiles: Madeleine Warner, Sundresses and Jumpers.

Computer

Outstanding of the Day: Lance Hutchison, Dominic Shockey, Audrey Hutchison and Thomas Rutledge. Best Computer project: Hutchison.

Creative & Leisure Arts

Outstanding of the Day: Brianna Ohler, Get Started in Art; Hannah Romeo, Seeing Through Graphic Design; Audrey Hutchison, My Favorite Things; Katelyn Haas, The Writer in You and Abigal Zeedyk, Quilting the Best Better.
