CHS Athletic Hall of Fame ceremony postponed

Members of the Carrollton High School Athletic Hall of Fame Committee made the difficult decision to postpone the 2020 induction ceremony.

The ceremony was originally scheduled to be held Sept. 4 and 5 in conjunction with the Carrollton vs. Coventry football weekend.

“It is with a sad heart we announce the ceremony will be postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic,” said Mark Spears. “Our plan is to reschedule the event and hold it in conjunction with a winter sports event.”

Members of the class of 2020 include Brad Roudebush (class of 2003), Tim Hepner (2004), Jamie Reed (1977), Pat Herron (1967),  Ray Metz (deceased coach) and the 1954-55 boys basketball team.
