Chamber welcomes new director

Carroll County Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureau officials welcomed Anna Bolanz as the new executive director last week.

A Carroll County native, Bolanz brings several years of experience in sales, marketing and management to the position.

“This is my dream job,” she said. “I grew up here and my husband, Robert, and I are raising our two children here. I am excited to be part of the business community.”

Chamber President Tait Carter expressed the excitement of the chamber board of directors.

“We are excited to have Anna on board. We see a lot of energy and excitement in her and are looking forward to her new ideas.”

The office, located at 30 S. Lisbon St. (Public Square) in Carrollton, closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, was re-opened last week under limited hours. Bolanz said she plans to staff the office Monday through from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
